Description
Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus is a proprietary blend of antioxidants naturally extracted from New Zealand kiwifruit skins and grape seeds clinically proven to improve skin health. Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus improves skin elasticity and cell membrane integrity while also reducing skin redness. In addition Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus has been shown to have a positive skin lightening effect after application for only 5 days.

 

Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus is produced from New Zealand’s super fruit
Fruit grown in New Zealand have adapted to the high levels of light and UV radiation that penetrate through our clean, clear skies by producing high levels of natural antioxidants in the skin, flesh and seeds of the fruit. We at New Zealand Extracts have taken two iconic New Zealand fruits - sauvignon blanc grapes from the world famous wine growing region of Marlborough and kiwi fruit from the Bay of Plenty, and naturally extracted and blended the antioxidants from the parts of these two fruit that have the highest levels of antioxidants,
to produce Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus.

 

 

Sustainable and Traceable
Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus is produced from kiwifruit and grapes that are grown in sustainably managed orchards and vineyards, and is fully traceable back to those orchards and vineyards.

 

Naturally Extracted
Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus is extracted using our 100% natural Aqua Pure® process that uses only water to extract the antioxidant goodness from these fruits. This means that the antioxidants are extracted in their natural form and not damaged by solvents, or harsh chemical extraction methods, and no chemical or solvent residues are in the final product. Freeze drying of the final product ensures the activity of the extracts is maintained and not destroyed.

 

 

 

Composition
Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus is a blend of potent antioxidants including vitamin C, gallic acid, catechins and proanthocyanins, naturally extracted from New Zealand kiwifruit skins and sauvignon blanc grape seeds using 100% Aqua Pure™ water extraction technology.

 

 

Format and Suggested Incorporation
Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus is a freeze dried powder finely ground and packed in 500 g and 10 kg sealed foil bags in cartons. The product is stable at room temperature when stored as directed. Recommended inclusion level is 2.5% or greater. The powder is fully compatible with all standard thickening and emulsifying systems and had no adverse effects on stability, integrity or texture of any of the systems. The powder can be easily incorporated into aqueous and oil phases.

 

Clinical Results
The fruit extracts in Vinanza® Skin Performance Plus have been shown in independent clinical trials to;

  1. Improve skin cell membrane integrity by decreasing trans epidermal water loss (TEWL) by at least 16%.
  2. Improve skin elasticity by 16%.
  3. Decrease skin redness by 7% (erythema).
  4. Lighten skin by 3.5% (melanin content).

 

 

Results shown are the statistically significant effects of the extracts in a base cream compared to the base cream alone. Ten volunteers took part in the trial and applied the cream to the volar forearm once daily. Erythema was measured after 3 days and melanin content after 5 days of application. Trans epidermal water loss (TEWL) and elasticity were measured after 8 days of application. There was no indication of skin irritation or redness from the extracts over the duration of the trial (12 days).
