Oxifend® Protect

 

Description
Oxifend® Protect is a proprietary formulation of natural grape and blackcurrant extracts with potent antioxidant and anti-bacterial activity to prevent spoiling of food items and cosmetic preparations by oxidation and bacterial growth.

 

Antioxidant Activity
The natural grape and blackcurrant extracts in Oxifend® Protect have potent antioxidant activity, more than 6 times the activity of vitamin C.

 

 

Naturally Extracted
Our 100% Aqua Pure® extraction process ensures the activity of Oxifend® Protect is maximised, is freely soluble in water and there are no chemical or solvent residues.

 

Anti-bacterial activity.
The natural grape and blackcurrant extracts in Oxifend® Protect have potent antibacterial activity. Independent tests have shown that these extracts inhibited the growth of both Gram +ve and Gram –ve bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli) by 100% after 24 hrs, at a concentration of 1.5 and 3.0 mg/ml or greater respectively.

 

 

 

• The antibacterial activity of the Oxifend® Protect is much greater than manuka honey, another natural antibacterial agent.
  
• Format supplied. Freeze dried powder packed in 500g and 10 kg foil bags. Store away from heat, light and moisture.
