What is so different about Oxifend® Plus?

 

Description
Oxifend® Plus is a powerful antioxidant formula blended from the extracts of four New Zealand superfruits:

 

Grapes, Boysenberries, Blackcurrants, Kiwifruit

 

These fruit have adapted to the high levels of light and UV radiation that penetrate through New Zealand’s clean, clear skies by producing high levels of natural antioxidants in their skin, flesh and seeds. We have taken these 4 superfruits and naturally extracted and blended extracts from the parts of these fruits that have the highest levels of antioxidants to produce Oxifend® Plus.

 

Sustainable and Traceable
Oxifend® Plus is produced from fruit that is grown in sustainably managed orchards and vineyards, and is fully traceable back to these orchards and vineyards.

 

Naturally Extracted
Oxifend® Plus is naturally extracted using our 100% Aqua Pure® process that uses only water to extract the antioxidant goodness from these fruit. This means that the antioxidants are extracted in their natural form and not damaged by solvents, or harsh chemical extraction methods. In addition no chemical or solvent residues are in the final product. Freeze drying of the final product ensures the activity of the extracts is maintained and not destroyed.

 

 

Purity is assured from independent tests that show that Oxifend® Plus is free from pesticides and heavy metals, and no GMOs are used in any stage of the process.

Composition
Oxifend® Plus contains a complete range of plant derived antioxidants including gallic acid, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), catechins, anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins and ellagitannins.

 

 

Proven functionality
Oxifend® Plus is very high in antioxidant activity with an ORAC score of 6800 units/gram and is 6 times more active than vitamin C, and much more active than equivalent weights of acai berry, chocolate, blue berries and cranberries.

 

 

In addition Oxifend® Plus has been demonstrated to be a powerful protecter of cultured human cells. When tested on human cells ex vivo, Oxifend® Plus was shown to have an antioxidant protection level > 2000 units/gram.

 

Application
Oxifend® Plus is supplied as a freeze dried powder. Its natural extraction, high antioxidant activity, purity and 100% solubility in water makes it the choice for addition into functional foods, beverages and supplements.
